Our History
Sean Cardinal began his career with only a hard work ethic and a desire to learn. He is now the proud owner of Sandlewood Custom Woodworks here in Calgary. Sean started doing work for Sandlewood Developments in 1987, while working for The Woodcrafter. In 1989 Sandlewood Developments acquired The Woodcrafter. The company then became their exclusive custom cabinet shop for Sandlewood’s growing needs.
For Over 20 Years:
Sean worked with Sandlewood Developments. The whole time building his passion and knowledge of the industry in Calgary. In August of 2014, the owners of Sandlewood Developments retired. Sean then became the proud owner of Sandlewood Custom Woodworks. As a result of his hard work, dedication and passion for custom wood working.
The owners of Sandlewood Developments supported Sean in moving forward. They knew first hand the level of knowledge and expertise he had gained through working with them.
Sean carries forward all the experience, expertise and dedication of the Sandlewood name. He takes great pride in the quality of his work. He has built countless custom kitchen cabinetry for Calgarians.
